These things are awesome. If you're like most cat owners, you are sick and tired of cleaning up litter that's been tracked all over your house. These fabulous mats have a surface that removes the litter from cats feet, with a texture that cats actually don't mind stepping on. The mat has a grid on top so litter falls through into a pan which you can then easily dump in the garbage or back into the litter pan and reuse. These work suprisingly well.
